The City of Whittlesea records that the Peter Lalor Home Building Co-operative was formed in 1947 by a group of ex-servicemen, and parts of the Peter Lalor Estate are heritage listed.

When should a switchboard be upgraded?
Before a renovation, when adding big appliances or air conditioning, or when the board has old fuses and no RCD protection. A photo of the board is a good starting point.
Do you install safety switches (RCDs)?
Yes. We fit safety switches to power and lighting circuits, usually as part of a switchboard upgrade, and test them on completion.
Can work be done outside business hours?
Where the job allows, yes. We plan fit-out and maintenance work around trading hours so disruption is kept down.
Something keeps tripping. Can you find the fault?
Yes. We test the circuits to find what’s causing the trip, whether it’s an appliance, a damaged fitting or wiring, and quote the repair.
